It must be high summer in France.  We’ve been singing at weddings and parties and night markets and campsites and cruises… and all under these Fabulous French skies.

The BIG new is that we changed our name!! Well to be honest you all changed our name!!  We started life as The Candy Stripes but everyone calls us The Candies.  So we decided that you know best and we’ve updated our printing and changed our website… we are now officially called The Candies!

We’ve returned to the Etang Vallier Resort for maybe our 7th or 8th visit!  We’ve been singing our way across Aquitaine and the Midi-Pyrenees for parties and weddings and we’ve continued as one of the resident bands onboard the fabulous AmaDolce;  we even made time for one of the Dordogne’s most popular night markets.

Hi Colleen,

Apologies  that I didn’t have a chance to catch you when you came to collect your equipment but I just wanted to follow up to say thank you for your performance on our wedding night. The music was superb and really got everyone up to the dance floor straight away (although some of the urgency for everyone to get up might have been to mask our poor dancing 😉 ).

I also wanted to say that it was a pleasure dealing with yourself and confirming all of the arrangements for the day. Given some complexities I had with other suppliers, it was so pleasant working with you and you made the whole process really easy!

Please pass my thanks on to the rest of the band and I hope you all have a lovely summer and successful wedding season 🙂

Dear Colleen – I heard yesterday was a huge success! Thank you so much! … we have you next season for every cruise in Libourne after the Captains farewell. (European Operations – Entertainment )

Thank you to you for making our party go with such a swing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the party continued late into Monday morning!  We will be arranging our next BBQ around your availability!

Just a little note to thank you all so much for your participation last night.  It all contributed to making a super atmosphere which was enjoyed by all.  Keep the last Friday in July 2019 free for next year’s market as well as the 2nd December for our Christmas Market… The Candies’ first visit to Verteillac proved a big “wow”!
